Tyndale: The Most Dangerous Man in England

Anyone who saw Wolf Hall last year may remember that Sir Thomas More labelled William Tyndale as the most dangerous man in England. These lectures will explain why!

In the first of two talks, Philip Morey will explore the extreme threat Tyndale posed to the authorities of the time and why he was so successful in his mission. This will be followed by Paul Moores from Wycliffe Bible Translators, who will show how Tyndale’s fight for the English Bible continues across the world, in other languages, to this day.

Come along to hear fascinating stories of the transformations that can take place when the Bible in a native tongue is understood for the first time.
